Instead of letting heat leak back into the housing, it drives it straight into your material. You get a much tighter heat footprint and things warm upfast. The quartz glass is the unsung hero here. Getting them installed and running

These are perfect for things like PET blowing, welding plastics, or industrial drying. Since they use radiation, you aren’t waiting around for the air to get warm—the surface of your part just heats up instantly. If you need a precise temperature, just hook them up to a PID controller and a fast thermocouple. One last tip:**Don’t touch the quartz tube with your bare hands.**Seriously.
