We built these 533mm, 240V, 1500W lamps for when you need a serious amount of short-wave infrared heat, and you need it now. The goal was simple: stop wasting energy and get the heat exactly where it needs to go so your cycle times actually drop. The power side of things At 1500W, these things pack a punch. Because of the 533mm size, you can cover a decent amount of surface area without losing that “hit” of intense heat that gets your workpiece up to temperature instantly. But a quick heads-up: this much power puts a real strain on your wiring. Just make sure your cabling and contactors can handle a continuous 1500W draw. Nobody wants to deal with a burnout halfway through a shift. Why the “Half-White” coating? Here’s the trick. A normal clear quartz tube throws heat in every direction—360 degrees of wasted energy. We added a white reflective coating to one half of the tube to bounce all that infrared energy forward. It basically doubles the heat hitting your target. Plus, it saves your machine frame and the back of your oven from getting baked by heat they don’t need. Getting them into your line These are pretty much plug-and-play for most standard short-wave arrays. Since they run on 240V, they slide right into most industrial setups without you having to mess around with bulky transformers. They’re a great fit for things like PET blowing, powder coating, or curing plastics. One last thing—be gentle with them. Halogen filaments are touchy. If your power supply is jumpy or if you bump the lamp during install, the quartz can crack. Also,wear gloves. Skin oils leave marks that create hot spots, and that’s the fastest way to kill a lamp.
